Look What’s Happening at the Farm

We’re open on weekends from June 8 through June 23, and everyday from July 20 through November 10. We invite you to join us through mid-August when you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of picking fresh fruit on the farm. Beginning on August 17, in addition to picking fruit and vegetables, we invite you to enjoy our special events with entertainment, music, contests with terrific prizes, children’s activities, and more!

Below please find a list of festival dates and the availability of different varieties of fruit and vegetables to pick. The website is updated as availability is determined, so please continue to check in closer to the date you would like to visit us.

And don’t forget to visit the Tavern at DuBois Farms, open on weekends from 12 – 5 pm! We’re pleased to offer a variety of the best local wine, hard cider, and craft beer for your enjoyment!

June 8 & 9, June 15 & 16, June 22 & 23: Strawberry Picking!: For the first time ever, we’ll have beautiful, sun-ripened strawberries to pick. Come and enjoy shopping in the farm market, lunch at the barbeque and a drink at the Tavern! Kids can play in Tiny Town and visit the farm animals! A fun day for everyone!
 
We’ll be open weekends only from 10 am-5 pm for strawberry season.
Sat., June 15: In addition to strawberry picking and a fun day on the farm, we’ll be hosting a special event sponsored by our friends at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Folks are welcome to come and watch Goat Yoga from 11am-12 noon, held in collaboration with Totes Goats, LLC. Visitors can also receive products and information from the AFSP all day in order to raise awareness and funds that will save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.

Due to the end of strawberry season, we’ll be closed from June 24 through July 19 until peach season begins.

July 20 through August 16: Peaceful Pickin’

Come and visit us to pick from our beautiful crop of delicious peaches, nectarines, and assorted veggies as you enjoy the tranquility of the farm! Kids can play Tiny Town and everyone can enjoy a delicious barbequed lunch and visit the farm animals.

August 17 & 18: Summer Harvest Festival & Classic Car Show at DuBois Farms – Saturday, August 17th (Rain Date: August 18th)
Bring the whole family to DuBois Farms and enjoy picking peaches, nectarines, Honey Crisp and Zestar apples, and assorted veggies! K104 is sponsoring our Annual Summer Harvest Festival and Classic Car Show on Saturday! Multiple food trucks and vendors will be here, along with music and fun activities for the family! This event is co-sponsored by the Dutchess Cruisers Car Club.

August 24 & 25: Peach-a-Palooza Festival

Everything is just peachy at DuBois Farms! Enjoy picking lots of peaches, nectarines, Zestar apples, peppers, eggplant, and zucchini, take a tractor-pulled wagon ride, visit the farm animals, and enjoy lunch and a cold drink at the barbeque and Tavern!

August 31, September 1, & 2: Peach & Honey Crisp Festival

Everyone goes crazy for our Honey Crisp apples and we have a beautiful and bountiful crop this year! Come and pick lots of peaches, several varieties of apples, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, zucchini and squash this holiday weekend. Open rain or shine!

September 7 & 8: Honey Crisp Hysteria Festival

We have a great crop of Honey Crisp, the all-time favorite apple, so we’re holding another festival weekend in its honor! Come this weekend and pick 5 varieties of apples including Honey Crisp, peaches, assorted vegetables, and colorful flowers! Buy two FULL 1/2 bushel bags of apples and get a 1/2 gallon of apple cider FREE!

September 14 & 15: Fabulous Fruit Festival: 

We’ll have a fabulous range of produce for you to pick this weekend including peaches, grapes, an assortment of veggies, and 5 varieties of apples including Honey Crisp and Snap Dragon! Buy two FULL 1/2 bushel bags of apples, get a 1/2 gallon of apple cider FREE! Hudson Valley Model A Car Show and live music from acoustic singer, James Patrick on Sept. 15!

September 21 & 22: “Fall Into Fall” Festival

Come and celebrate the beginning of fall at DuBois Farms! We’ll have lots of apples, peaches, grapes, and veggies to pick. Plan for all of your fall decorating with a plethora of pumpkins and colorful mums a-plenty! Buy two FULL 1/2 bushel bags of apples, get a 1/2 gallon of apple cider FREE!
